Our next club meeting will be held on April 29 at 8 p.m.
The Fencing club and NASP program have concluded their winter use of the archery club. The indoor range is now open all week for anyone who needs to complete their Indoor 600 scores for the season. April marks the end of indoor season, so please get your scores caught up as soon as possible.
Will has conformed with the local authorities that our 3D shoots for the season are still permissible during this time as an outdoor activity. For those of you feeling cooped up during the quarantine, this will be a welcome opportunity to get out into the fresh air and stretch your legs while making sure your bow is dialed in for turkey season and summer 3d!
The course set-up workday scheduled for April 4 at 8:00 a.m. is still on, and any help is appreciated to set the stakes for the coming shoots. So far there aren’t any trees down or major issues with the roads or bridges. For anyone able, please come help! We’ll be getting the paths cleared of any remaining debris and the stakes put out. If you would like to offer some input on course changes, now would be the time. Please bring whatever tools you might have, just in case! If rained out on Saturday, we will be working on Sunday April 5.
Our first 3D shoot of the year will be on April 19 from 8-2. Set up will be the Friday night before on April 17 at 5:30 p.m. We’re really hoping for a strong turnout this 3D season, as the last few years have not been what we’d hoped. Thank you all for coming out so far, and we hope to see you all this year!
