The summer season is in full swing! Matt Shultz has set up a chore board in the club house for organizing work that needs done as members are available to help. Since not everyone can make the workdays, this helps give folks a chance to help around their schedules. If you can, please consult the board on the back wall of the range and help however you can.
Our July 29 meeting was the changeover for the membership year and officer elections. Officers have remained the same for the upcoming year. If you couldn’t attend, please contact Will Stoops to renew your membership and exchange clubhouse keys.
Our next 3D is coming up soon on Sunday August 16. Only two more 3D shoots of the season! Members got the lanes weeded and the gate reset already, so course setup will be Friday August 14 at 5 p.m. We won’t have Wednesday work night for this shoot. All help setting up and tearing down the course is welcomed and appreciated!
We will not be having the local 3D League with the other clubs this year. Instead, CVB will be offering a season-long raffle for interested shooters. For an extra $5 shooters will put their score cards in the hat for a random drawing to win the pot at the end of the season. This is our first year trying something like this so please help us kick it off right! The more shoots you attend, the better your odds at the end of the season! This is open to members and nonmembers alike.
