October 2022 Newsletter

Our next club meeting will be on October 30 at 8 pm.

A huge ‘Thank you’ to Matt Shultz for targets! This is incredible and really helps the club get ready for next year during this rise in costs.

The pop machine inside the clubhouse is now $1 per can. The wall mounted can crusher is currently damaged, so please be cautious.

The Riverside NASP students will be using the clubhouse and indoor range again this year on Monday and Thursday nights from 6-8 p.m. through next March. The indoor range will be closed at these times.

The 600 Indoor league will be set to start the first week of January as usual. It will be the first 13 weeks of the year, $3 per week, with scores based on individual progress. Everyone shoots against themselves for points, and points go towards the team’s total with teams chosen randomly. Archers of every skill level can participate, making it a great winter activity for the family. The league is open to non-members as well, they’ll just need to shoot with a member. Scores can be shot and turned in at any point during the week. If you have any questions, please join us at the next club meetings for more information.

Best of luck to everyone in the buck pool! There are several successful hunters so far and we have until the end of early season. Your rack is scored by points and spread, with the rack and score confirmed by a club officer. If you can’t reach an officer, please bring your rack to the next club meeting. Good luck this season, everyone!
