December 2022 Newsletter

Our next club meeting will be on January 25 at 8 pm.

The pop machine inside the clubhouse is now $1 per can. The handle on the wall-mounted can crusher is currently damaged, so please be cautious when flattening and disposing of empty cans.

We will set a workday over winter to scope out the course for any upcoming work/clearing and new possible target spots. After the success of the first long-range shoot, we’re hoping to expand and improve for the next one.

The Riverside NASP students will be using the clubhouse and indoor range again this year on Monday and Thursday nights from 6-8 p.m. through next March. The indoor range will be closed at these times.

The 600 Indoor league begins on the first week of January as usual. It will be the first 13 weeks of the year, $3 per week, with scores based on individual progress. The first two weeks will establish your baseline average, with each week’s following score then compared against your average. Everyone shoots against themselves for points based on improvement, and points go toward the team’s total. Scores can be shot at any time, with the cards placed into the score box by the door when you’re done. Please remember to include your week number and date! Teams are chosen randomly from all participating archers. Archers of every skill level can participate, making it a great winter activity for the family. The league is open to non-members as well, they’ll just need to shoot with a member. Scores can be shot and turned in at any point during the week, including makeup’s or shooting ahead if necessary. If you have any questions, please join us at the next club meetings for more information or stop by on Wednesday evenings.
