APRIL 2022 Newsletter

Our next club meeting will be on May 25 at 8 pm.

The Riverside NASP team will continue to use the CVB indoor range on Monday and Thursday nights through May. Please plan to use the club at alternative times.

The 3D season has begun and for May we will be having two CVB 3D shoots, a long-range setup on Saturday, May 14, and the more standard setup on Sunday, May 15. Both days will be open to public shooters, and any major changes between the two setups will be addressed Saturday afternoon after the last shooter. Saturday registration will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and targets will be stretched out for longer shots and more elevation change, similar to other long-range courses or elk hunting scenarios. The Friday night set up will continue as usual with members meeting at 5:30 p.m. on May 13 to ready the course. We can always use some help with set up and tear down, but either way we hope to see you all on the course!

There will be three League shoots this year per club, and the participating clubs will be CVB, Beaver Valley Archers, and Millvale Sportsmen. Our CVB League shoots will be in July, August, and September this year. We really need to see a strong turnout for the league and ask anyone who can make it to please come on out to Beaver Valley Archers this weekend for the first League shoot of the season! Please sign up and represent CVB as we kick this 3D season off right! There will be two league shoots in May.
